I am a member of the SEC, the Society of Education Consultants and an Associate Education Expert at The Key. This is a nationwide organization that provides expert, practical and time-saving information in direct response to school leaders’ questions.

In addition to being a Theatre Arts Specialist I am also an Education Consultant. The kind of areas I cover would involve advice such as setting up and running a new Drama Department, Improving existing Drama Departments, and Drama across the Curriculum, Directing Top Youth Theatre in Schools (how to rise above the School Play) – Troubleshooting in Drama from A – Z and a host of other drama-related queries and guidance be they syllabus or extra-curricular concerns.

I can also offer excellent advice about Drama-based Inset sessions for staff and in fact, offer an entirely innovative Team-building and Leadership Workshop of my own creation called “Staveworks” – (see linked website) which I am taking around the country. This workshop is available for Staff Insets or Fifth to Sixth Form workshops.

I also offer another innovative Inset course: Teaching As A Performance: schools can book me for a full or half day to observe their teachers’ class-room styles but, uniquely, from a theatre director’s point of view: an invaluable session for improving body language, emotional intelligence and communication which can really enhance classroom practice.
